Demolition

Partial or Complete Demolition

Demolition work requires a specialized, qualified team and state-of-the-art equipment due to its risks and technical aspects. Indusco's team of experts has been carrying out an impressive number of demolition jobs every year for the past 30+ years. Demolition of contaminated buildings (complete or partial) for redevelopment, breaking or sawing concrete—we master it all.

Demolish to Sanitize

When a building is contaminated with asbestos, different types of substances or mold, it is often possible to proceed with decontamination. In cases where the contamination is too generalized, the only possible solution is to completely demolish the building. It is then imperative to carry out the work according to health and safety standards. Not just anyone can become a demolition expert!

Whether it is a commercial or industrial building, our team will first evaluate the work to be done and the risks involved. The work will be planned in compliance with the municipal and industrial standards in effect. In the case of the demolition of a contaminated building, we proceed with the removal of hazardous materials, the demolition of the structure as well as the cleaning of the site.

Déconstruire pour rebâtir

Partial demolition, also called stripping, requires refined techniques and precision. Interior or exterior stripping consists of destroying only certain elements of a building (wall or floor covering, ceiling, roof, stairs, breaking and sawing concrete...) and keeping the rest of the structure intact.

The complete curettage of the building can also be carried out. In such a case, we dispose of all the interior furniture, we dismantle the entire components to only keep the building’s shell.

Through these different types of work, the building regains its healthy and solid state, and it is then time to move on to the reconstruction and/or renovation stage.

The Cleanup Following the Demolition

After the destruction of structures, the state of the site can be discouraging. Indusco's team of operators takes care of the cleanup of the site, both for complete and partial demolition. Dust of all kinds generated by the work is potentially harmful, and it is essential to dispose of it safely. The clients then get a clean land or building ready for future developments.

Recycling of Materials

Nowadays, it is no longer acceptable to send all the waste from construction or demolition sites to a landfill. During the cleanup phase, the Indusco team, concerned with preserving the environment, ensures that the materials collected are disposed of responsibly.

Once the dismantling operations have been carried out according to local regulations, the materials are all sorted at the source. Brick, concrete, wood, metal structures, doors and windows are all directed to recycling points where they will be revalorized. Repurposing existing materials is essential since it reduces the amount of waste to be treated.

Leaders in Demolition

Demolition work, whether complete or partial, is not to be taken lightly. It involves risks and requires specialized and precise techniques. Managing the resulting waste requires just as much expertise. Indusco's team has been a leader in demolition for nearly 30 years and ensures impeccable and safe turnkey work.
