Many components require proper insulation: plumbing pipes, heating/ventilation ducts, boilers, chillers, tanks, refrigerators, generators, pipes carrying gases or liquids, industrial equipment, and more.

Insulation is done using a variety of materials, chosen based on the type of equipment and the level of protection required.

These may include fiberglass or mineral wool insulation sleeves, polyurethane or elastomer foam sleeves, rigid or flexible insulation, insulating blankets with heating wires, and more.

Protective cladding made of PVC, aluminum, pre-painted steel, or stainless steel is then added, along with a fire-retardant coating.
