About Us

Why Indusco?

Indusco has nearly 35 years of experience. Initially, the company specialized in mechanical insulation, also known "lagging", in the commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.

When the government and public health authorities became aware that certain materials, such as asbestos, used in many buildings were toxic, Indusco decided to specialize in decontamination. Because decontamination work often requires demolition work, the company created three distinct but related branches:

A Growing Team

Today, the Indusco team is made up of about a hundred employees. We prioritize trust, both with our employees and customers. Over the years, the company has evolved, grown, and the team has expanded, but the same objective remains: beyond contracts, we create business relationships through efficient work and a dedication to quickly reach our customers during emergencies. We maintain these relationships, thanks to the adaptability and continuous training of our technicians, as well as our availability and emphasis on communication.

Indusco's team is divided into two headquarters based in Montreal and Sherbrooke, but serves the entirety of Quebec. Our clientele is composed of private companies in the commercial and industrial sectors, as well as public institutions.

Our clients trust our expertise during construction or renovation work and know they can count on us for the regular maintenance of their installations. We continually work to create a safe and healthy environment, improving energy and production efficiency to save our clients time and money.

At Indusco, evolution is a way of life. We are constantly in the process of improving our techniques and technologies. We’re especially focusing on reducing debris on construction sites. Material recovery, metal resale, sorting at the source with the objective of reducing costs and the ecological footprint—nothing is left to chance.

A Partnership Based on Trust

We’re always available and interested in working with new clients who wish to benefit from our expertise in mechanical insulation, decontamination and demolition. We want to maintain and nurture lasting partnerships with our clients based on mutual trust. Our team welcomes you to be part of this partnership!

At Your Service since 1987

In 1987, Jacques Demers founded Indusco in Sherbrooke. Over the years, his son, Sylvain Demers, took over the business, surrounding himself with experts in mechanical insulation, decontamination and demolition.

Jimmy Duquette joined the team, first as a labourer on job sites, then as foreman and manager. Mr. Duquette has held every position within the company, and has worked his way up through the ranks, allowing him to know, and above all understand, the inner workings of each of the services we offer. Involved in the construction sites as well as in the relationship with the customers and the management of human resources, Jimmy Duquette, now president of Indusco, envisions a bright future for the company.
